Jorge A. Ballestero Quesada

Executive Coach and Freethinker.  A grateful son, and proud father and brother; a People Management (HR) leader, a former career diplomat, and a seasoned attorney.  I am convinced that success hinges on serving others and loving what one does for a living, whatever that is.

Brought up in San Jose, Costa Rica, I identify with Guanacaste, the province where my family roots are grounded. 

An avid reader and traveler, I have lived in Mexico, Spain, the United States, Panama, Nigeria, and Budapest.  I am a foodie and a motorcycle enthusiast, who enjoys the sea, cares for animals, and is passionate about freedom, personal & community development, and human rights.  I am also an outspoken advocate for the rights of children, persons with disabilities, and refugees. 

During the last decade, I have become an international expert on people management, strategic planning, career development, and conflict resolution. 

This blog is a tribute to my mentors, colleagues, classmates, friends, and family.  It is also foreseen as a tool to inspire and help others to live happier and more fulfilling lives.
